Every body of work I create begins with observation.

I don't see painting, sculpture, photography, film, design, furniture, or architecture as separate disciplines. I see them as different methods of documenting the architecture of a creative life. Each medium asks a different question, reveals a different perspective, and records a different moment in time. Together, they form a living archive of experience.

​

Since 2007, my practice has evolved through distinct creative eras, each representing a period of growth rather than a collection of individual works. Those eras are preserved through TIMECAPCELL, an archival framework that documents not only what was created, but why it was created, what was learned, and how each body of work became the foundation for what followed. Every painting, photograph, sculpture, object, film, and design exists as part of a larger continuum rather than as an isolated achievement.

At the center of my practice is ARTCHITEXTURE, the philosophy that now defines the work and the direction of the studio.

Art is expression. It is the visible manifestation of an idea made tangible through form, material, and intention.

​

CHI is energy. It is the unseen force that moves people, shapes decisions, and gives life to creativity. It exists before the object and continues long after the object is complete.

​

Texture is reality. It is the evidence of experience and every lesson that gives meaning to what has been created.

​

Together, ART · CHI · TEXTURE represents the structure that holds them together. It is the intersection of expression, energy, and lived experience. It is both a philosophy and a framework for understanding how creativity extends beyond the studio into the way we think, build, travel, design, collect, and ultimately live.

My work is not intended to provide answers. It is intended to create awareness. I am less interested in telling viewers what to see than in creating space for them to discover something about themselves. Whether the work is abstract or representational, architectural or emotional, personal or universal, the objective remains the same: to encourage observation before judgment and reflection before conclusion.

​

The three completed and ongoing eras are NSYDE OUT, PAINTMAN DRIPS, and ARTCHITEXTURE.  They represent the evolution of that philosophy. Together they move From Foundation to Blueprint, documenting a creative life that continues to expand through new ideas, new disciplines, and new ways of seeing.

 

Every lesson I've lived has become part of a stronger foundation. What stands ahead is constructive design.
